Pando is under an NDA, so this page sticks to my role and what is public.

Pando Surgical is a medtech startup working on surgical ergonomics. I joined as its Product Manager in fall 2026, through TroyLabs BUILD’s PM division.

The task

Laparoscopes commonly have an angled tip, so rotating the scope changes the view.

Pando’s product is the LapRotator, which is patent pending: an attachment that lets a surgeon rotate the laparoscope with one hand, instead of setting down an instrument to rotate it with the other.

A gloved hand grips a laparoscope's camera head while the scope is turned by its light post: the two-handed rotation

Without the LapRotator: turning the scope takes a second hand.

A gloved hand holds a laparoscope fitted with the white LapRotator attachment, turning the scope with the same hand

With the LapRotator: the hand that holds the scope turns it.

What I do there

As Product Manager, I built the team’s task system.

A shared tracker, organised by date and department, pushes each person’s assigned tasks to their own calendar, from Google Sheets to Google Calendar. A Notion task hub gives each person their own view.
